Taking the first step on a design journey can feel daunting, but Iʼm here to make it simple and inspiring. Letʼs explore whatʼs possible together.
After your initial intake consultation, we will meet (ideally on site) for a 90 minute session and interview to review your strategic objectives, personal interior wishes and establish what the vision for the project is. We will also look at building an inventory and evaluate what existing furnishings and fittings are worthwhile being kept, repaired or removed.
Here I will distill all of our outputs from the project definition phase into more concrete ideas and designs. I will develop mood boards and material boards, some 2D space planning designs, furnishing and fitting ideas, as well as colour scheme(s).
We will meet in person to review the designs from phase 2 and gather your feedback, as well as other specifications and budget adjustments. Based on this meeting I will revise and finalise the designs so that they are tailored to your feedback and our discussions.
We will meet one last time to go through the final designs (this will include rough 3D sketches, a colour scheme schedule, a lighting and fittings schedule, a furniture schedule, a products and material overview, and floor plans). For those opting for Tier 1, the project ends here, though I will be able to support you further for my hourly fee of 75 euro. For those opting for Tier 2 we will continue together across the final project stages:
I will support you in the tender process for the relevant trades. Once the contractors are appointed I will then assist you in the construction process with 90 minutes per week to ensure the designs are implemented correctly (inclusive of site visits where required). I will also support you in ordering the products and furnishings agreed upon (though please note these must be paid for directly by the client). I will continue to make periodic visits during installation and delivery (and reserve the 90 minutes per week for this).
Weʼre in the home run. A rough overview of products such as decorative ornaments, cushions, throws, and plants will have been shared during Phase 4, but we will now finalise this. Once everything is on site, I will make the space feel like home with styling and finishing touches, to make sure your home feels perfect and beautiful - but also just like yours!
