This key living dining space was designed to be welcoming but elegant. The light red-based neutral from Paint & Paper Library was chosen for the walls to provide warmth and a subtle contrast against the rich walnut hardwood herringbone flooring, whilst a dark Morris & Co rug helps anchor the space and enhance the Art Deco feel. The living space has two vintage Chinese cabinets either side of a modern Dark Emperador marble mantelpiece, providing a nice contrast that I always strive for in my designs. For a playful pop of colour, we have placed a luxurious modern armchair in velvet next to a dark sage green cabinet, which bring an element of surprise and energy to the room. Across from these, a beautiful sideboard in burl wood brings a real touch of luxury and style to the space, and the rooms are finished with art deco gold and brass lighting fixtures.
