Wallpapered Study

Designing this study was an opportunity to create a space full of character and detail - and with a large window, I wanted the interior to feel lively and rich in texture. The walls are adorned with Morris & Co's 'Bird & Pomegranate' wallpaper, featuring intricate animal and fruit motifs that bring a sense of whimsy to the room. To complement the wallpaper, Farrow & Balls 'Cord' was added on the lower half of the walls, as well as the window casing and woodwork. Its slightly beige/ochre tone grounds the design and ties together the vibrancy above. For the furniture, an old English dark mahogany writing desk and a matching bookcase lend timeless charm to the room.
